WHAT ‘EDTECH’ MEANS TO A DIFFERENT PARENT
We have witnessed a lot of new developments around me recently. As i started an exciting new job cooperating with an online and mobile test prep supplier known as TestSoup that makes memory cards for a variety of numerous standardized medical tests. I am numerous benefits of marketing, marketing promotions, and (of course) schooling.
But perhaps the most significant difference in my life not long ago (within yesteryear year and also a half) is that now I here’s a parent, and also am enjoying the world by way of a very different range eyes. It affects all the things, but mainly it pushes you to evaluate everything finally. When you go via something, anyone wonder how it will be for your children when he or she experiences it.
This is exactly what happened all last month, when ever TestSoup went to its 1st conference: ISTE 2011 . Not only was initially it TestSoup’s first discussion, it was my own as well. It turned out an interesting working experience, I must acknowledge. Lots of going for a walk, lots of conversing, and lots of hand-shaking. There were other belongings too, yet those are often the three in which stood the most.
As I wandered surrounding the conference, gawking at the wonderful educational technology (EdTech) equipment available these days, My spouse and i couldn’t help but imagine what it shall be like as soon as my kid goes through classes. What will colleges be engaging in five or even ten years in the future? What are that they doing currently?
