I really want you to see through to the history you’ve had the privilege to disregard.
I don’t wish your viewpoints or ideas.
You are wanted by me to be controlled by the Black experiences you’ve selected to forget.
We don’t wish your #BLM Instagram story reposts.
I want screenshots of the bail out cash contributions and patronage of Ebony labor/art/knowledge.
We don’t desire your passive Twitter likes.
I’d like you to check out Ebony tragedies just as much as you follow Ebony styles.
We don’t want to vindicate your white shame. It’s yours to get together again.
I really want you to check on your parents that are racist call away your apathetic white friends (especially when there will be no individuals of color here) without anticipating a pat regarding the straight straight straight back.
We don’t wish your rips. We have a lot of those.
I really want you to check on in on the Black nearest and dearest and respect our boundaries that are emotional/physical.
We don’t want to decrease the adversity you’ve faced from areas of your identification.
I really want you to acknowledge that your particular life is a lot easier because you’re white. I would like one to acknowledge because you know your life would be harder that you would never choose to be a Black person.
We don’t wish you become “a good white.”
I’d like your activism become and criticized by Ebony individuals. I really want you to develop from your own errors so we are able to develop being a country.
We don’t desire your out-of-context MLK quotes on perpetual pacifism.
